Inspired to paint postcards videos by participants

This year two artists, that joined the DIY Postcard Swap during the spring, both decided to make videos on how they created their DIY postcards. I love this so much, and feel so much inspiration that I just have to share them with you guys.

Even if you’re not joining the DIY Postcard Swap right now, you might still want to watch these videos and maybe be inspired to paint along? I know I was. So I am really happy to share them with you guys. Enjoy!

Cozy Art Club videos by Tori​

Tori of Kooky Kreatures on YouTube made two videos. In the first one she prepares her postcard backgrounds, and then in the second one below, we get to follow along as she finishes one of them with a very cute painting.

Create with Dori Patrick : a mixed media collage postcard video​

Then full-time artist Dori Patrick shared a video of her process for making mixed media collage postcards as well. Whoop, whoop!

I love that these two ladies took the time not only to make great video content for their audiences on YouTube but to also, so generously, mention my swap, link to it and promote it. I couldn’t ask for a better endorsement of the postcard swap.

Of course I was very thrilled about this, as it both demonstrates the process of them creating the postcards but it also (hopefully) opens up new pathways to my swap for potential new participants.
