Delights of summer: flowers in bloom

[iHanna]

On a June walk I spotted some of the many, many delights of summer: flowers in bloom. I love the pinks, the blues, the purples, the whites, all of them. I had to share some of them with you:

So much pattern, color and joy. And I was actually carrying a brown paper bag filled with joy as well:

Geranium plant: Mårbacka (Pelargonium Marbacka).

I was walking home from my mom and she had bought a couple of new Geranium plants, and I got a Mårbacka which has pale pink flowers. Since our balcony is full of plants but still mostly green, green, green, it will be perfect out there.

Delights of summer: Reading on the balcony.

I haven’t been sitting on our balcony very often yet, because most of May was quite cold, and June is proving rainy or very, very hot, LOL. But this day I brought out a good (thrifted) book and an iced coffee and rested my feet.
